There is nothing to compare with impressions of this cruise. Just in a week, it is possible to visit several stunning and exciting cities, islands and popular attractions on the east coast of the Adriatic Sea.

Croatia – it is a welcoming and sunny country with its picturesque scenery. Lots of historical landmarks are gathered on its territory as well as 7 national parks.  Slovenia – it is the northern neighbor of this remarkable country. Also, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro are situated from its southern side.

The coastline is almost 6 000 kilometers long, 4 000 kilometers of which are just islands (there are about 1980 of them in Croatia), and 1 700 kilometers belong to the mainland.

The coast is divided into 3 parts:

  1. Istria which encompasses the islands of Kvarner archipelago.
  2. Middle Dalmatia – it includes Split, Zadar, and others, smaller.
  3. South Dalmatia includes Dubrovnik.

Weather in Croatia

Mid-Continental Climate: the warm period lasts about 5 – 6 months (May to September). So, it is the perfect time for a yacht cruise! The air temperature reaches + 78.8 – + 82.4 °F (+26 – +28°). The summer period here is usually accompanied by a slightly blowing northeast or northwest wind (Bura and Maestral). Oftentimes, the sea is completely calm.

The winters here are short, sometimes, there is a strong wind called Bora blowing from the coastline. Especially, it is likely to happen close to Istria but the wind does not cause any huge waves.

Visa

Citizens of the Russian Federation require to apply for the national Croatian Visa.

However, another way to enter the country is to have a resident permit from one of the Schengen counties, specifically, Schengen visa type «С» or «D».

Getting to Croatia

There are direct flights from Split, Dubrovnik or Pula to Russia as well as an airport in Zadar.

Alternatively, it is possible to get to Croatia by opting for charter flights.
